What You Can Expect From Botox

Your practitioner will inject the Botox into the necessary areas on the face and/or neck. This typically takes anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes and ends with minimal to no discomfort. Most patients return to work or daily activities immediately following treatment:
You should notice the results of your Botox injections within 2 weeks following treatment. You might experience some slight tenderness at the injection site, however, this should only last up to 2 days. More serious side effects include allergic reactions, itching, fatigue, and swelling, but these tend to be rare. We recommend that you avoid strenuous activity until the next day following the injections.
Many patients choose to receive Botox injections every 3 to 4 months.
